P-noy

Activity #25 (Randolf Colegio)

Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III or commonly known as Noynoy Aquino or P-noy, is the only son of Cory Aquino and Ninoy Aquino is the current head of state of the Republic of the Philippines, He graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. He was one of the students of former professor of economics at Ateneo de Manila University, He had a short tenure as a member of the Philippine Business for Social Progress, working as an assistant of the executive director of PBSP. He later joined Mondragon Industries Philippines, Inc. as an assistant Retail Sales Supervisor and assistant promotions manager for Nike Philippines, Inc.

Then he runs for the senate and won and after that he won in the elections of the 2010 election as president.

Many people say that he has not done much in his two years of being a president except for the whole wnag wang thing, and noticed that more problems has occurred in our country during his term because I noticed that he is fixing the minor problems first before the major problems of our country

Although it’s just the first two years of his terms and I am going to wait for more things to happen in our country.

Impeachment Trial 2012

Activity #24 (Randolf Colegio)

Well if you’re going to ask me I don’t really care about the impeachment trial because in my perspective our government is very corrupt and I don’t think that anyone could have a fair trial anymore and at this moment I don’t really know what to type for two hundred words about this trial all I can say that they want corona out because he was seated at the time when former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is still the head of state, but according to the people that I’ve been asking about this trial they want Corona out because former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo replaced the members of the government with her members in her administration which is forbidden, well I guess that she will do everything so that she can’t go to jail, but unfortunately her plan did not work ^_^

But I still don’t get the logic why the members of the senate wants him out, I can’t see any reason why he needs to be impeached he did nothing wrong and I don’t think his corrupt.

But until now everything is a big blur to me I still don’t get it and why can’t they stop there are more bigger problems that our country is facing and they should stop the nonsense that they are doing

Climate Change

Activity #23 (Randolf Colegio)

I know that all of us know these two words and when you see or read this two words you will immediately know that it is bad …

Yes. It’s climate change,

What comes at your mind when you see this words, to me it all reminds me of pollution and the carelessness of people for the environment

Many of us are affected with climate change some may die to these reasons plus climate change may cause to greenhouse effect which is really bad for us because it will melt all the ice in the north and south poles and it may also kill hundreds of animals not only those that are living in the poles but in the entire world.

Many of us feels this climate change especially the greenhouse effect, notice that sometimes it is really hot and even if it’s only 7:00 in the morning the sun already has a stinging sensation on the skin plus climate change can be a huge threat to the health of persons like heat strokes, high blood pressure etc..

We need to remind ourselves to take care and preserve our environment; we need to help the world, the animal and ourselves

iPhone or Galaxy Tab

These two gadgets are very famous and the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy is the world’s leading devices

and I think that Samsung Galaxy is the best because according to a survey that I saw from the internet Samsung has outperformed the iPhone.

Here is the survey

BODY, DESIGN AND FEEL

Samsung Galaxy S2:

Once you hold the device in your hands, you will feel the light-weightiness Samsung has introduced in its Galaxy series. With a smartphone weighing only 116g , the new Samsung Galaxy S2 claims to be the thinnest smartphone ever known to man. Samsung Galaxy S2 possesses dimensions - 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.49mm and is ready to fit into the tightest jeans pockets without problem. The compromise is however made on body-quality which looks un-inspiring.

Apple iPhone 4:

Apple is already known to produce the finest of body-designs, which is very much evident from its previous iPhone trail. With a sleek iPhone 4 body,  the device is slightly heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S2, with the device weighing 137g and having dimensions-  115.2 x 58.7 x 9.3mm. However, there have been constant reports than when you cover the bottom-left corner of the iPhone 4 with your hand, a signal loss is detected. We are not really sure of the reason behind this, but it is not really much of a problem for Apple iPhone 4 users.

Winner: Samsung Galaxy S2, for its sleek, clutter free and light-weighted design and body.

DISPLAY

Samsung Galaxy S2:

Samsung Galaxy S2 sports a 4.3-Inch screen, having a screen resolution- 800 X 480 pixel, giving optimum display quality due to its SUPER AMOLED plus technology. Also, the color displays are highly appealing, specially the green and blue color. Off angle viewing for Samsung Galaxy S2 is as good as the one seen in Apple iPhone 4.

The device has excellent video playback quality with ultimate details and sharpness, and smooth action. However, the whites in Samsung Galaxy S2 are surprisingly less pure as the same when seen through Apple iPhone 4.

Apple iPhone 4:

Apple iPhone 4 sports a 3.5 -Inch screen , with a screen resolution of 960 X 640 pixel, which according to Apple is more than the resolution, which a human eye can process, at a 3.5- Inch screen. Also, the Retina Display in Apple iPhone 4 gives it an edge over other smart-phones in its comparison.

The display is often reflective in bright surroundings or direct sun-light, which may result in inconvenience for the users. With Samsung using its Super AMOLED plus technology, Apple developers really need to work hard on the iPhone display performance.

Winner: Samsung Galaxy S2, for its appealing HD quality display performance and ultimate color display.

PROCESSOR

Samsung Galaxy S2:

Powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, the device is capable of handling multiple operations within fraction of second. The phone is incredibly fast, one of the fastest phones we’ve reviewed on GeekSyrup. While you are browsing through web-pages, switching between applications, or performing any other operation on the phone, the device remains fast. Also, as per our tests, the device loads web-pages faster than Apple iPhone 4 over the same WiFi connection.

Apple iPhone 4:

Apple iPhone 4 on the other hand is powered by the same Apple A4 processor that brought life to Apple iPad. The device performs multiple operation in an acceptable time duration. Also, the phone runs on 512 MB Ram, where Samsung Galaxy S2 is fitted with a 1GB Ram for optimum processing.

Winner: Samsung Galaxy S2, for its really powerful CPU that is virtually capable of handling operations better as compared to the Apple iPhone 4.

OPERATING SYSTEM:

Samsung Galaxy S2:

The Galaxy S2 is powered by Android, and customized with TouchWiz 4.0 which makes it highly customizable. While Android is not really much complex as people consider it to be,  it has been proven that if you are familiar with computers, you won’t really have much trouble using it! Being an open source platform, Android clearly invites a series of opportunities that will make this device an unforgettable experience.

Apple iPhone 4:

Its fast, simple, clutter free, and easy to operate! iOS is nothing new in the field of operating systems, where Apple ,Inc. introduced it in first of its iPhones in 2007. Other than being clutter free, iOS is efficient and effective. No hidden options, and the long key press gives you access to a lot of other options!

Winner: Apple iPhone 4, as per user reviews!

CAMERA

Samsung Galaxy S2:

Samsung Galaxy S2 sports a 8-MP camera, which is a boost from 5-MP camera in Galaxy S. The device is good at capturing images, excellent at noise reduction and color sharpening, where the color display is very much natural. The images are pleasing to eyes and videos are shot at 720pixel and 1080pixel at 30fps, giving best results, although lacking a little definitions.

Apple iPhone 4:

The Apple iPhone 4 offers flash, which is a feature, constantly demanded by customers across the world. With a 5-MP camera, the stills are not bad, but lack certain quality when considering sharpness and color display. The video output is however good in iPhone 4 where videos are shot at 720pixel HD, which offers appealing videos on iPhone’s Retina Display.

Winner: Samsung Galaxy S2

Score is

IPhone: 1

Samsung Galaxy: 4

Now which do you think is the best

Cars

Activity #21 ( Randolf Colegio )

I’m one of those people who like cars and I know a lot of them, cars are very important at these times because it is not that safe anymore to travel with PUV’s and it much more easier and less tiring if you have a car.

But I also like car related sports like F1 racing, Drag racing, etc…… I also like sports cars and muscle cars

But in all those cars I only have one favorite and that is the Ford Mustang GT, it is one of the most beautiful cars in the world and many Hollywood artists have this kind of car, and this car can also use for racing.

I like this car because it is fast and I like its style I think this is one sexy car and kind of remember memories when I see this car but I will need millions to afford this kind of car but it is not impossible I can buy a mustang if I work hard.

I also like the new Nissan Skyline GTR, it is also one of the most beautiful cars in the world, it is also a fast car and it has a sleek body shape.

and those are my favorite cars

All Time Favorite movie

Activity #20 (Randolf Colegio)
By now Hollywood has produced millions of good movies, even our own country has produced millions of movies but all of those movies I only have one favorite.
For me Titanic is the best movie I've ever seen, even though it's old it still attracts people to watch it

The story of this movie is great, it also made me emotional because of the scenes and the fact that it was taken from a real life story, and while I was watching this movie I pity the people that died in that ship, but I think is a lesson that the Lord reminded us that no material can last forever and he can destroy all things.

I also admire the director that made this movie, James Cameron really did a great job he made everything so real, the computer effects cannot be noticed except if you really looked closely, and every scene is like taken from a real sinking ship.

Titanic has made billions and billions of dollars $_$ and even though it’s a very old movie it is still beautiful and I can’t also wait for its 3D version of this movie to be shown this April.

That is the reason why I like Titanic and I wish you could watch it so that you can see the magic in it.

My Dream Pet

Activity #19 (Randolf Colegio)

There are a lot of animals in the world the bad thing is you can’t keep all of them as pets because some might eat you during the night or maybe grapple you and eat you alive, but if that was possible I want to have a wolf as a pet,

because it is cute for me (it’s cute because it looks like a Siberian husky) plus it will protect you no matter what, it can attack and kill people who have bad intentions against me, and it can be a source of transportation if there’s snow (it has been said that eskimos use wolves to pull their sleighs)

But it is impossible because only a crazy people will keep a wild animal as a pet, and even though you raise it when it was still a cub you’ll still have to release it because it’s illegal and if it’s hungry it might eat you.

But if you really want to have a pet wolf just buy a Siberian Husky because it looks like a wolf and it will not eat you during the night.

and remember keeping a pet is a lot of responsibility, you need to feed and love the pets that you have.
