Activity #32 (Randolf Colegio)

I think that Hunger Games is one of the best book that I've ever read, it was written by Suzanne Collins which I think is one of the greatest authors that has ever lived, can you imagine that her book was read by Stephanie Meyer, this book is a New York Times best seller and I wouldn't doubt that because the book is really interesting and every page is getting more exciting so I cannot resist to flip another page, the book already has movie that is going to be release this March 23 and I am so excited to watch it even though I had finished the book already.

Let me share you a piece of information about the book, actually the setting of the book is like the future north America and it was named Panem and Panem has 14 district including the Capitol but after the rebellion against the Capitol they were only 13 district left including the Capitol because they killed all the people there and the erased district 13 on the map.

and as punishment every year each district will offer a tribute one mane and one woman between the ages of twelve to eighteen to fight to the death until the last man is standing.

see hoe interesting it is I hope that I catched your attention in reading this book

now please enjoy the trailer of the upcoming movie

Google Chrome or Firefox

Activity #31 (Randolf Colegio)

Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are both great web browsers both has good quality and has very fast access to web pages, but what is the reason why many people compare this two servers to each other, well I did a lot of research and found some really big differences between the two

Google Chrome

Google Chrome is a freeware web browser developed by Google and uses the Web Kit layout engine. It was first released as a beta version on Microsoft Windows on September 2, 2008 and was released to the public on December 11, 2008, its name is derived from "graphical user interface frame" or simply chrome.

it is most popular in India, Pakistan, Russia, and South America

Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from theMozilla Application Suite and managed by Mozilla Corporation. As of January 2012, Firefox has approximately 25% of worldwide usage share of web browsers, making it the second or the third most widely used browser.

It is most popular in Germany and Poland

To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, Firefox runs on various operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD, and many other platforms. Its current stable release is version.

so what do you think is the best.

My Favorite Cartoon Character

Activity #28 (Randolf Colegio)

Many of us is fund of watching cartoon, and even professional adults have a little time to watch cartoons, well who doesn’t like cartoons, even teenagers like us is still watching cartoons.

The most popular cartoon characters are

• ·         SpongeBob
• ·         Tom and jerry
• ·         Mickey mouse
• ·         Donald duck
• ·         Hello kitty
• ·         Etc………….

Yes these are the most common but none of these characters is my favorite, sure their movies are popular and I love them too but these cartoon characters are very common.

My favorite characters is “Finn” the dog and “Jake” the human from the series “Adventure Time”, I know that they’re not that popular but still I like them very much because they are very funny and they are like partners in crime and support each other when they are in the time of darkness.

By the way let me share a piece of detail from the series, Finn was believed to be the last human on earth (aww to bad) and he has a best friend dog named Jake who could actually stretch and change the shape of his body and they went to different adventures to help or simply to have fun.

And I wish that we could watch together someday

Jeepneys

Activity #30 (Randolf Colegio)

Jeepneys has transported Filipinos for a decade now and jeepneys still lives on,

Jeepneys are like vans but not air-conditioned so that you’ll be able to get all the fresh air you need when you ride it ^_^

And jeepney has also been part of the Philippine history; let me share a part of it to you

There was a man named sarao and he made a jeepney from parts of trucks and since it was introduced it has been used to transport American soldiers to places.

And now it is used as a public transportation and it has been part of the Filipino culture for years

And a traveler said (Andrew Zimmern) jeepneys is like cabs in New York and double decked busses in London.

I am so proud to have this kind of transportation because it is very unique but now you have to be really careful in riding a jeepney because there are a lot of holpapers and pickpocketers

Yess it is very sad to say that those bad people has tampered the jeepney’s reputation

And I also wish that in the future there will be some modifications in our jeepneys, but in the meanwhile lets continue enjoy riding this colorful jeepneys

Please enjoy the video that I prepared for you

Gadgets

Actvity #29 (Randolf Colegio)

Gadgets are small devices that are used by many people nowadays and I can say that gadgets are a great invention, I too has some gadgets on my own and I really enjoy using them.

I believe that gadgets are invented so that you can carry your computer wherever you go or we can simply call it “portable”.

Yes gadgets have delighted people for years like the cellphone, handheld, etc….

Cellphones is one of the greatest gadget that has ever invented its like a portable telephone (well it is a portable telephone) and many people use it even me and I think that if the whole world has no cellphone it will be really hard to communicate again, cellphones has evolved so much from a colorless phone to a multi colored one, and from an alpha numeric keypad to a qwerty keypad, and to a non-touch screen phones to touch screens and in the future there will be more designs and feats to a phone

Other gadgets like the laptop have also amazed people all over the world because you can connect to the internet even outside of your home and many schools now a day needs laptops.

And again we also need to control ourselves from using these kinds of gadgets

Facebook or Google +

Activity #27 (Randolf Colegio)

Facebook and Google + are two very famous social networks although I never used Google + so I really don’t know what to compare, the only thing I know is that Facebook is founded by Mark Zuckerburg and was launched in February 2004 and Google + is operated by Google, Inc. and was launched June 28 2011

So since I don’t know what’s the difference between the two I looked at other blogs and did some research and found some big differences between the two

Google + is based on groups and whatnot and Facebook, you know what’s in Facebook already

But through their differences there is some same features that both social networks have, they are both social networks where you can connect and talk to your friends, groups and love ones that are far away

There is some ups and downs between these two the ups are that they can connect you to friend s, Etc… and update your status and the downs is getting too much ADDICTED well I confess that I am one of those people who are very addicted to Facebook and yes I feel quite embarrassed about that well who isn’t going to be addicted to such social networking sites

But we always need to remember that we have to control because it may affect our health and too much computer is bad for your eyes.

But as of now happy googling and fbieng :D

My Best Friend/s

“Best” it is the term used for things that is above all (except for God), and every person has a best friend, best friends aren’t easy to get because you need trust and trust is not something that is not given it is earned and that is not an easy task.

My best friends are Edjune Lingan and Maria Victoria Reccion also known as “Mavic” (do not call her Maria or else she’ll hit you) these are my two dearest friends and I will not forget them even if were apart (which is soon to happen because two years from now we will be going to college :’(….)and their always there to support me and they are very fun to hang out with and I will never forget the memories that we have.

All best friends fight but they will still forgive each other me and edjune have several fights due to misunderstanding but it always end up in forgiving each other and sometimes we will just laugh about our argument

I also have fights with mavic but we also ended up at forgiving each other

Having best friends is always a part of a person’s life and we need to trake care of them if we don’t want to loose them and I hope ypu will have fun with your best friends.
